new rear tires
Going to pick up some new rear tires 275/30/19
i`m looking at either ACHILLES ATR SPORT or FEDERAL 595 EVO
Anyone have any opinions between the two?
They are around the same price. I know there are other choices out there but these are what i`m choosing between.
Thanks

I have run the Achilles but not the Federal. In a 215/45/17
Its a decent tire, not super sticky though, treadwear around 400 iirc. I did notice the shoulders rubbing off after ~5k miles...but they were on the fronts, and the car has definitely been spun around a few times. Wet traction is excellent. I ended up selling the wheels that had the tires mounted so I cant comment on lifespan.

I've seen both kicked around the track.
Personally, I feel like it is 6 and one half dozen of the other.
Given those two choices, I would just go for the cheaper one... and as lame as it sounds, I'd for the one with the best looking tread pattern cause some tires just look freaking retarded, especially in that size.

Let me know when you get some impressions...my tire guy mentioned them last time I got a pair.
Since we're talking cheap tires, lol, also in that price range is the Accelera Alpha...I have these on the front of my car now...They seemed pretty decent till I used them at an event and managed to almost completely destroy the shoulders in ~30min track time
