crazy chattering/ clicking noise
so i just got my motor put in i rebuilt (s14 ka in s14) and on the first test drive im getting this crazy annoying not sounding good chattering/ clicking noise. its only when i accelerate and sometimes. its not bad when i first turn the car on then i progressively gets worse. to me it sounds like its coming from like the clutch/ bell housing and i can feel vibrations through the clutch pedal. anny help with diagnosing this?
pilot bushing could be bad, (or not even there, seen that happen after rebuilds)
flywheel could be jacked up
pressure plate could be jacked up
the clutch plate itself could be jacked up.
could be something really dumb like the fork got bent
gonna have to pull it part to figure it out.
And that is only if you are sure it is coming from the tranny/clutch area.
There are all kinds of things that could be making a chattery/clicking noise, especially after a rebuild.

I was thinking that some sort of bolt(s) would be loose pertaining to the clutch system and throwing something out of wack
