Hi I'm currently building a kitcar and I want to use the vq as a mid engine setup so two questions 1st will the 6spd maxima tranny mount up to the 350z motor and can I mount the tranny directly to the dif thanks and I have done a lot of searching and can't find shit so thanks in advance

The 6sp maxima tranny already has a diff in it. The axles come out parallel to the crankshaft, just like every other FWD car ever made. If you're making a mid-mount kitcar, I would use the entire Maxima drivetrain. If you want the higher hp that the 350z has, you can get most of that by swapping in the cams and intake manifold.

Mmmm (Yes, i know the car comparisons are not the same but still) Concordes/LHS/300 and tornadoes off the top of my head use transverse fwd trans's. Just saying, but yes other than that everything you said %100

 

Yeah yeah, show off. You forgot the Audi A4 from a decade ago, the #1 gang ride of the 90's Acura Legend, and about 100 more bad idea cars I only went that direction because Nissan had the sense to never ever try this!
