vq35 in s13?
Has anybody on here done this swap? if so, how difficult was it? how do u like the set-up? and also about how much did it cost whether you did it yourself or took it to a shop. just tryin to get some info on this swap. Thanks guys

I know I read somewhere, that a kid put a VG into a coupe s13 and once he was finished he was pissed with the results compaired to the cost of another swap. But there was a shop built car that had a VG done just to show what the shop could do, they are both on google somewhere.

look for post by Broaner called "Tomcat 240" buildup.
a little over the top from what you're looking for, but a VQ35 sits and runs in his car.
there have been a few people to do it. obviously the hardest part is wiring. everything else is pretty cake, especially if you line up the motor a tad more forward (yeah yeah, weight balance haters EAD), so the shifter lines up without any cutting, but i think it needs a custom driveshaft that way.
go in advanced 240 section.

in the december 2006 sport compact car, they did a write up on a vq35 into an s14...... pretty solid information. if i remember right they were using the vq35 fwd engine from a maxima or altima 3.5. this seems like a really cool swap

you need to do research on Nissan Forums | Infiniti Forums by NICOclub.com, the original Nissan Forum for true enthusiasts. (giant nissan only forum) you wont find very much info on tr about stuff like. they have an rb and vq specific (sr,vh,ka,kat,etc. also) forum with gobs of info about swapping anything into 240's. go with the rb you asked about before. you will find anything you want to know about nissan's. just use the search button before you post!!!!
