Default S14 Wheel/Tire/ Offset combination

I'm new to the forum and I've been looking around for a wheel fitment discussion and haven't been able to find one. I'm going with a 18x8 and 18x9 staggered set that I'm picking up from one of the members this Saturday. also looking a 245x35 and maybe 285x35 for it but I'm not sure how that would fit. If the 285's would be too big I'm just going to pick up the 245's and use them in the back wheels. Pictures and advice would be greatly appreaciated.

IBTL

if you can't find a thread about fitment on 240's, you're SERIOUSLY doing it wrong.

On an 8" up front for some sort of "fitment" look, you probably want to go with something more like a 215 front, and 225-235 rear.

S14, and 8", i'd probably say 0- neg10

Rears with the 9" aim for 5-15 +

18x9's and 18x10's are needed to fill fenders.

An 8" -5 offset wheel will be just as flush as a 9.5+15.....

I'm not saying you can't do it that way. I was thinking more along the terms of most of the members of TR, they don't have deep pockets to be able to afford expensive ass wheels. He'd have better chance of finding cheaper wheels with positive offsets then negative ones.

I will have 18x9 +23 and 18x10 +20 on my car.

BZ- those are nice wheels, but I want something larger than a 265 stretched on a 10" wide wheel. No offense but when your rim lips stick out but your tires tuck, that's not exactly "fitting".

Then you know nothing about fitment... That is the whole point.

No, I don't know anything about curb scraping rim lips poking out with tires tucking and I don't care to. I like practical, useable tires, not 225's on a 10" wide wheel. My car makes power and it's purpose isn't the slammed on the ground drift missle.
