that fitment thread is exactly the opposite of what you are all posting. This is more along the right lines.

I realize both pictures I posted are showing more than factory camber, but they can be squared out with a light pull.

I think everyone here knows the difference between drift missile "fittment" and fast car "fittment".

So to answer the OP's question. If you want 90% of the s-chassis population to think you look cool cut your springs and by some 17X9.5 +12 rotas and run 215 45's.

If you care about grip, enjoy traction and fall into the remaining 10% get a 17X9 or 17X10 with a +20 or above offset and run 245-315 out back with varying degrees of fender pull to achieve tire flushness.

I've been running 245/40/17 on 17x9+22 all around for quite a while now. I want to do 255/40/17 all around but I am pretty sure I won't clear my coilovers up front and I don't want to run spacers. Just did my alignment today per Epstein specs with 2* camber front and 1.5* rear. In my opinion, my fitment is perfect.

Nice, thnx for the input and pics. Im still gonna run these 18's and see how everything comes out if not they'll be up for trades. I like how the 17's fit on s13 coupe and the green s14 looks sick from behind. Hopefully theyll be on this sunday so I'll post before and after pics.

I ended up going with 255 40 18 in the back........ and blew them out in a week because the cars alignment was completely FACKKKED(used tires $60). balljoint where blown so I got rear lower control arms godspeed (feel really good-$155 online). and I upgraded the rear tires to 275 40(420 shipped-tiresdirect). Took the car to get aligned(180-firestone-lifetime) emmediatly after putting on all new parts/wheels/tires and Im getting a really bad rub on the inside of the rear driver tire, rear passenger is good. anybody have any clue wtf is going on... I cant keep burning through tires like this lmao - posting pics when the sun comes out.

take it back to firestone and let them adjust the alignment with the parts on the car. it might not be in perfect factory spec but it will be driveable and wont blow your tires out in a day.
