91 S13 running weird...
Okay I have a 91 S13 hatch. It has a dual cam with almost 140K on it, completely stock except for intake and cat delete.. I think I'm having some sort of fuel issue, but I could be wrong.
There has been a few times when I start the car it would idle for a second or two then shut off. When I try to start it back up, it takes about 2 minutes of cranking then it will finally start. Once it starts I have to rev it a few times or it will stall out again.. after that it will idle fine.
Also, if I put the pedal to the floor in 1st and 2nd gear it feels hesitant until about 5500rpms, then it pulls like it should. I can't really tell if it does it in any other gears. It probably does but I just can't feel it.
I've replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. Nothing changed.
I'm thinking it is the fuel pump but I want to confirm that before I buy a new one.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Chase

the only way your going to find that out is if you put a fuel pressure test on it. try to duplicate the problem and see where your fuel is at. could be anything from a bad maf add or subtracting fuel, injectors staying open and flooding the motor, etc. look up stock fuel pressure, and check the entire fuel system.
