Andreas Miko sells low mileage jdm redtops for 450 to your door. Might as well do that before you dump a shitload of money into your engine.

 

Just rent a leakdown tester... and bdc each cyl you are testing. You will know u have bent valves if you see more than about 20% you got the bends in your motor.

I'm getting a new engine head. The metal melted on to the head and it shaved the cam, which in turn, broke the cam. i need a new head regardless now. Anywhere else I can get it?

You bring tools in, remove the parts you want, pay lots less than other junkyards, and are able to get only certain parts that arent available at a lot of others.

I'd suggest a cordless drill that will fit a 1/4" extension, and a cordless impact, they should speed along removal.
