Why buy megan coilovers ?
Wait wait, so first you cant read and comprehend that I really dont give a crap ultimately what ends up under your busted car, however it doesnt hurt to open some peoples eyes to the availability of better parts, for the same money.
Man, you've got it right, use shitty suspension, and focus on how far out your wheels poke, you've certainly got the recipe for win...
or an ugly pos that rides like shit and scrapes up tires, although it wont matter because like the suspension, they'll likely be cheap shit.
Fanboi located!!! Why is your 1st post in here? Please post your wheel fitment and suspension or STFU!

Probably someone's second account. I'm guessing they were too much of a pussy to confront someone under their own name?
I got my coilovers from DooDoo back in the day, they only had like 20K on them and still ran fine. Never had an issue with the Megans. They were a bit stiff when I was riding super slammed for a few months, but it wasn't the ride that I didn't like, it was that I couldn't drive over a snail without grinding down exhaust flanges and scraping frame.
I sold them to chome and he worked em for a while. I'd take Megans over those Godspeeds and the other no name brands...but back when I had Megans, the only other cheap coils were GCs.
I eventually went to Eibachs and Koni blues and those were nice even though they weren't super cool fitMINT low.
My brother put on KW somethings and those things are nice but the whole car rides super stiff because every possible arm has been replaced and the whole car is full of heim joints and solid bushings

Believe me, Taylor and John called it the stiffest car they had ever driven, and that was after a pro alignment at S&R. It was nuts. It did get better after another alignment. But at that time, it was on springs/struts, so I think the struts were about gone, they were used Tokico blues when I got them (I mistakenly called them Koni blues in my last post). Once my brother put those fancy KW's on or whatever they're called, the car drives much better now. Well, it doesn't drive at all now. haha
Honestly, I think some of the guys on motoIQ said it best. Most of the guys out there know who TIEN, JIC, and the other big names are and then balk at the price. Now Megan comes in at this point. Same looking part, half the price or lower. Its very hard to convince someone with no outside experience that the $700 part that looks exactly like the $2000 part will perform $1300 worse. Also, these guys are into the look more than anything. If you're doing the NRR setup with the Koni/Blisten's you've either got a superengineer brother (Epstien), or have been in the game long enough to know how to get the most out of your dollars.
Speaking of being in the game for a while, these kids getting on the band waggon haven't. They don't know how awesome it is to be able to call SPL up and say you snapped a tension arm, and get another one sent to you for $25. Nor have they been able to take the 9 year old blown and rusted JIC's that came on their 180sx shell and exchange them + $1100 for a brand new set of FLT-TAR's from JIC (this was actually my only reason for not going the NRR suspension route).
At least now Megan is actively supporting the industry some of the other fly by night china shops are destroying, and they do have a guy here in the US who helps out when shit doesn't fit.
On a side note, Tim, you're switching springs to 6k/4k on your A2's? You going to revalve or no? I was thinking about doing that or 7k/5k.
