Why buy megan coilovers ?

ive had k office, jic and a couple nice spring strut set up, but i grabbed a set of megans for my project knowing there not the best but there not garbage. And i know quality just figured ill upgrade and pass them down later. Its not like i would put them on a car i drive everyday. Why so concerned with what other people do ? kinda stupidddd lol

Yes and no. In some cases they ARE the same product. Not just looks the same. It's been confirmed that Powered By Max buys their coilovers from Windflowers (see below for a bill of lading slip from the Port of LA). Windflowers is the same company that provides BC and Megan with their coilovers. Also the same company that provides Apex'i with their entry level series. An ex-Megan employee verified that Megan Streets and A'PEXi N1 Damper ExV are the same coilover.

I have personally never had Megans, but all my friends that have them seem to be really happy with them. For the price they are decent coilovers. I agree with what a couple other people have said seriously Z28ricer why do you care so much on how other people spend their money? Do you think people look up to you and want to build their cars by what you say? Because well, they don't.

i wouldnt be surprised if they were.
but, look at it this way.
who cares where theyre made, all that would really concern me is reviews of people that own them, and if you can, drive a car that has whatever setup youre thinking of.
if something came out that got amazing reviews, and stood up to some abuse, i wouldnt care if it was made in america, or by a 10 year old in indochina

The main reason I wouldnt run most of whats been mentioned, is simply valving. Overly stiff valving to be all jdmcraptastic, usually most of the reviews are by kids, who just seem to think if they are stiff and jarr you, they must be awesome.
