Why buy megan coilovers ?
i dont think megans are too terrible for an entry level coilover.
honestly, for as much as my jic's were, i dont know if theyre worth it really.
but, by the same token, ive put a lot of hard miles on them with no issues, so i guess thats the proof.
* not saying jics are better than konis and whatever else. im sure you get it.

I drove on megans for 4+ years and never had 1 compaint on my s14, and I bought them used. Seems like a weird thing to make a bitch about what other people do with their money thread.

In this case, a lot better for the same money.
Well, if you found me better coilovers for $500 4 years ago, I might have considered buying them. I still fail to see your point, or the reason it makes any difference what other people do with THEIR money, and how that offends you. You have a 240, don't you know you can spend more money and buy a BMW? Same logic, but I don't see other people making threads that say why buy a 240 when you can buy a better car for more money.

The jic's may very well be on par with the konis, im not really questioning the purchase of stuff that is worth a shit, what I dont understand is how people buy megan crap, with shitty valving, rather than some tokico/koni adjustables and stock style lowering springs, for the same money its going to ride and perform better generally.

potatos vs oranges your comparison,
im talking about similar price range, both suspension, one with proper valving and r&d behind it, the other some bullshit that kids claim is awesome because its stiff...
Got mine NEW for 600 Reason #1
Had a 1 year warranty #2
Only cared about going low/rode good enough for what I want to do #3
Lots of the components are interchangeable with other coils so If i did want to change anything around wouldn't be that hard #4
And incase anyone cares, I had a EDFC and Tein setup before these sold that, then had stances on order till I got these. I was skeptical at first but after putting more than 17,000 miles on them just this year i'm pleased.
And LOL at idiots with stock cars and no modifications or any experience talking any sort of shit in this thread.

You somehow think I really give a crap what shitty parts end up under other peoples cars, I definetly dont, I just figured it wouldnt hurt for a few people to have their eyes opened to something that realistically is going to function far better, being available for the same money.
