wow, seriously?

i knock sensor for these cars is one of the most important sensors on our cars... like FOR REAL....

just get a used one for like $10 from someone (EDIT: like the one super coupe posted [posted before i hit submit]), hell, i got like 4 back ups... and with the whole coolant and gaskets, WTF ya need that for? proper tools and a knowing hot to get to it from under neath and you can have it swapped out in like 15 minutes or less...

don't go pulling your fuel level sender out cause as long as you keep it full, it'll be fine, and then get on here and bitch about running out of gas on the top of the skyway...

seriously, remove the two 14mm bolts on your starter, remove, and BOOYA, there's your knock sensor chillin, i think it's a 12mm bolt securing it to the block...

christ, removing/bypassing a knock sensor...... WTF?

its cool man, im not trying to make an ass out of myself or anyone else, i know the importance of the knock sensor but did not realize there was an easier way of replacing it besides 2-3 knuckle sockets. I was just explaining to greenman that i wasnt doing this as a permanent fix solution but he and a few others apparently dont understand the fact of temporary get my ecu out of safe mode till i get another sensor.
If you have one that you would sell me for $10, i would greatly take it off your hands so i can stop this stupid feud.

Ya just call me tomm.

It has a crack in the plastic. But I know it works. If for some odd reason it does not work. I can refund your money or give you one off another running motor out at my storage. Not trying to scam you or some shit.

super coupe's got one, and he may be more local than i...

i understand you wanted to do it as a temp solution, but the cons of doing so FAR outweigh the pros...

if you don't get yours from super coupe, i'll dig mine out...

what about going to a junk yard and pocketing a sensor and only having to pay 1.25 to get into yard, should be about the same as the cost of that resistor

this way your saving money and keeping the knock sensor

my lag is your courtesy head start

ATTENTION.... installing a head gasket, head studs or pistons and rods in your otherwise STOCK engine dose not make it a "built" engine! stop listing you cars for sale saying they are built when its not!!
