SR lagging at WOT...?
yep, lagging, losing power, not going fast at WOT. it looses power, and i can actually feel it regain once i lift my foot off the throttle. is the a fuel problem? maybe fuel pressure?

timing is straight now, im pretty sure, it could probly be adjusted a bit, but im def gonna look into a boost leak. but it honestly seems more than that.. like not consistant like a leak, more like blub blub, you know? unless thats what a leak would do..?
and then again, it doesnt really fell like its cutting out due to gas..
any chance at all, this could be head gasket related?

a boost leak would make it "blub blub" and fall flat on it's face... and run pig rich...
also, take a look at your fuel pump and alternator....
the fuel pump in my gray S14 was bad, rode around fine, hit the gas and "blub blub", replaced it and hauled so much ass made me wanna slap my momma...
similar situation in the last black car, alternator went out.. ran fine as long as i was around idleish rpms, hit the gas and falling on the face...
i'd say check for boost leaks, as it's the easiest, then check the alt for charge (watch volt meter under load), and then check the fuel pump, as it's a pain in the dick to get to...

i see... alright, sounds like a plan to me. what would you do to check boost leak? lol and can i "check" my fuel pump without actually going into the tank, like volt test it maybe? idk lol

for the boost leak, go to lowes/home depot... go over to the plumbing section and look for a rubber pipe cap... if you have a 3" turbo inlet, get a 3" pipe cap.... then, shoot over to tools, and where are the air tools are, look for the MALE end for a air hose... go home, drill a 1/4" hole in the center of the cap, thread the male end into the hole, clamp down on your turbo inlet...
get a spay bottle of water, put like 10 drops of dish soap in it, shake well...
get your air compressor out, adjust for about 20-25psi, connect to the male end on the pipe cap... then spray all your piping/coupers/clamps/vac lines/gaskets/intake mani...
if there's any leak, you will have bubbles... tighten clamps as needed...
as for the fuel pump, you could be getting proper voltage to it, and it still be bad... thats why i said save it for last...

Same shit happened to me.
It would feel powerless at WOT and if I slowly backed off the throttle it would seem to run better.
Turns out my fuel pump sock was extremely clogged. You might have the same problem.
