^^ Yes I did... can you read? This is what I gather from what I read: If my exmag is tested and is below 79db operating. I win without contest. Is there something you didn't understand about the law? I'll install my cat, and put a silencer in if I need to. Whether or not my exhaust is aftermarket or not is irrelevant as long as it is comparable to the factory emissions system the car came with and passes noise rating.

 

ex mag is definitely louder than stock.

^ Thanks, I'll be sure to post when the citation is dismissed. Now; back on topic. I didn't ask for a reprimand or advice about what to do. I simply asked if anyone new somewhere I could get a decibel test done on my exhaust.

 

Ask stereo shops, most that compete in DB drags will have a DB meter. And they should be spot on, so call up your biggest local shop. Tell them you want to DB test your exhaust, see what they say.

You are trying to fuck with the government, you aren't going to win. No matter what they are going to get your money. Fixed it ? Fuck you pay me. Things you should do 1) Pay your ticket 2) Move on or get a car that is older than 25 years old and it won't fucking matter because you'll have classic/antique tags.
