You don't need moly lube on the bottom of the stud because you're not torquing the fastener there. You torque it at the top. That's where you need the lube, and that's where they recommend it. The studs go into the block by hand.

Got it! Leave block portion of stud dry like ^. So just lube up the top / head portion of the stud with moly and make sure to dab some on the underside of the nut... and finally torque to these specs, 45/65/85ft lbs.
