With a 40's buick Straight 8?

If the windows are an issue, all you have to do is tape the leading edge and problem solved.
I'd like to see pictures of it when it had the Indy V8 under the hood.

Ed dosnt hold any world records.
The only reason for the weird engine choices is so they can run in specific catigories. They change the engine configuration each year so they can run in a new class. Apparently there are a million different classes you can enter, but each class is very very specific as to what set up you run.

190 and 240 are two VERY different things, not to mention bonnieville records usually arent set by top speed, but a two way average....

full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.
