crap, and forgot my inspection review... i went over the motor....

missing clamps on couplers/hoses, yet does have a T bolt set up, on some hoses LOL
knock sensor not hooked up (not even a wire in it... just kinda chillin....
no oil return for the catch can...yeah, weird...
random fucking wires running no where (it's okay, i got a new harness on the way)
cat head ass gauges (will be for sale shortly)
samco silicone hoses (BONUS!!)


mostly a misc wiring mess... should come out nice with a nice Martin converted harness (i'll be PMing him when i get it in)... other than that, the thing is in GREAT shape... pulled the vlave cover off... cleaner than most SR's i've seen in there..

oh, a GReddy Oil filter with 0 miles YAY, might slap that on the black car to match the GReddy oil filter relocate kit..

other than that, a minor bit of wrench time, and she should be fully road worthy and back to normal...

might even drop the coin to get a set of used 550's, a used S14 T28, and a Enthalpy tune for it... who know's.... it's got a KAAZ 2 way in it i could sell for enough to almost finance the whole resto...

 

That S14 is a nice ride Dude, The body is clean and stright Are you going to fix the door or just replace it? Good Luck sounds like your going to spend the rest of the summer on this project. Looks like you got a hell of a steal on this 240sx. Even the Interior is A+ condtion.

 

Velocity Trends owner said that once i get it running, i can bring it to his shop, and he'll fix it free (the door), the prev owner/seller told him he was selling the car to me, and that it was part of the sale to have the door fixed, and the owner said "no problem, just have him bring it buy, and drop it off for a day or two"....

yeah, this might take up the summer, but if you look at how fast the black car got done, while needing a more than this gray one, nor do i really want to put much in this, cause it's a resale car, it might just take me a few weeks, a month tops....

hopefully... we'll see...

 

well, got started on the new S14 today... what a mess... i wont go into any crazy paragraphs, i'll just let the pics and captions do the talking...

got about 1/2 of the random trash pulled off the motor... still got a little ways to go to clean it up... under the dash in another story....


pulled harness, and misc crap, already looking nice!!


check this out... i think it's the OEM S14 KA harness... no wonder this guy was having problems with this car, and the wiring was an ENTIRELY different story that i don't even want to get into...


what ECU is this? stock KA?!?!?!?!


good news is, all the AC lines have been converted to work with the SR AC compressor, which is in the back seat, so it seems like when all is said and done, this will be a A/C, Heat, and power steering car, maybe even cruise control if i feel froggy...




another surprise, owner said they were Tein springs... even better, Eibach Sportlines!!


another part to order... blown out/leaking clutch salve...

nice fully secured shift fork LOL... both clips are off, where it's mounts to the pivot ball, and the throwout bearing... looks like the hardest part of this project is gonna be dropping the trans and fixing that.. but you can see that ACT extreme clutch in there, NICE..
