Car looks nice!

I don't get what's so impressive about a radio bezel. I have one too. $20 at Nissan.

 

it's special to me, cause the only S14 i had that DIDN'T have a broken bezel was my first one, and as soon as i put it in the gold car, it broke.... it's just one of the little things that irk me... and the cheapest i can find one, is from AAAnissanparts, for like $45 before shipping...

more outside pics... he's already got it on jack stands so i can throw my S14 SE's on there and he can keep the fugly Skyrine wheels...



that door kills me.... he said if i want to wait, it can be fixed... i dunno what i wanna do tho.. all i know is i want to start wrenching on it...






so besides the lack of a grill, and that dent in the door, the overall car is pretty damn good shape... maybe even straighter than current black car....

 

so how much are u getting it for?

 

dirt cheap, it needs work, but i'll be able to make almost double what I'm paying, if not more than that when it's done....

i'd rather not say what I'm paying/putting into it cause the last thing i need is for the potential buyer to be all "eeeehh but you only paid this much, so why are you charging double blah blah bla".....

ya know, when someone finds out you paid $100 for something worth $300, and you try to sell it for $200, they don't want to pay 2 cause they know you paid 1... it's the nature of things...

only person who know's besides the guy selling it to me is Clawhammer, and only him cause i'd sell it to him for what i'll have in it, to keep him in the 240/SR game, get him in a S14 instead of a S13, and to just be a friend, and help him get a car, that's sweet, for cheap...

 

Nice find on a S14. One of these days I have to get a S14-S13!! That Color looks good too. {Very Rare}.

 

not so much rare.... car was originally emerald green i think, and painted whatever grey this is... although i love the grey....

When he was 1st selling it he wanted $10,000 now he asking $8500 and still he is asking to much $$$. I even offered the dude 2 cars and still he said no! So I guess I have no luck on finding a 240sx w/low miles.

 

yeah, that's a tad high... even though it is a 98, but you gotta deduct $$ for it being an automatic... but hell, 79K miles? not bad milege at all...

yeah, i've seen that, i was event temped to throw my black S14 up for trade on that, but then i'd be left with a somewhat clean S14 with 15 front, with goddamn KA in it... and i just had a KA car for a couple weeks..... for now on, if it's an S-chassis, I'm not buying/driving it unless it boosted....


as far as the one i'm buying, it's locked in, should be here in a matter of hours, just worked out all the financial/towing details (sorry chromedrifter to burst your bubble, but i am actually buying it), so hopefully everything goes smoothly with towing ect...

also, i've already got some parts on the way...

new S13 SR engine, battery, and coil pack harness from JDM of Miami. i'll be sending it to Martin at Fever Racing to have it converted to S14 chassis, and then using it in the black car, and taking the "OK" harness from the black car and using it in the new one... to eliminate the dizzy and spark plug wires and to go back to coilpacks, and CAS...

i also scooped up a GReddy Profec B Spec II, a GReddy Full Auto Turbo Timer, and a coil pack cover (to put on the project, as it doesn't/wont come with one), might a bit to the value when i go to sell...

either way, parts list off need shit at this point is pretty small... i'll know more when the car gets here, and i can go over it to see what all else i need...
