Turbo my 300z
they did make a vg30det you know? granted we didnt get it here. If you're going from NA to a single turbo (i assume) then i guess you could go this route. You'd have to wait for Epstein's expert opinion.

full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.

Ok here is the question. I have a 93 300z and would like to turbo it with a single turbo. What would be down side of it?
Hey Shin, I think you're remembering the VQ30DET that Japan got. MMM factory turbo VQ. Same BS crossover tube, though.
BTW, GM did a bunch of single turbo V6's decades ago. Typhoon, Syclone, Turbo T/A, GN/T-Type. Not saying that it's the right way to go... just saying.
^ naw the early 90s cedrics/glorias had VG30det engines as well as the m30 leopard. only reason i know this is from talking to the same kid with the 3sgte Altezza. They had a single throttle body too VG30det (rare): Engine / Drivetrain (for sale): Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub
