Honda wheels came with the car, been spending to much money getting the car, motor, and some suspension taken care of to worry about "mad tyte" wheels to please everyone else... they have decent rubber, roll around nicely and get my from from A to B and are better than the OEM 4 lug options for a S14. i'm also not at that stage yet as i've only had this S14 for little over 4 months, and I'm bout to sell it to get a better body to drop my drivetrain/suspension in... wheels at this point are the least of my worries...

as for talking shit, whatever, shit looks retarded to me, i like nice flush wheels, but that retarded camber bullshit is just the flavor of the week...

or i can do it like everyone else, get some f1nor-c or whatever, slam my shit on the ground, get retarded camber that makes my suspension look busted, and go for a Boso look cause it's so uber cool...

of i can just make my car the way i like it, and not worry about what others think, if they think it looks like shit, fine... like i think sinks car looks like shit, everyone's entitled to their opinions

i know a lot of you have been in the 240 game for years, and i've only been in for little over a year and a half, but i come from muscle heritage, V8's and the like, so it's not like I'm completely ignorant to going fast, or building a car... i was drawn to the 240 by it's overall potential to be an all our racer, for relatively cheap, be it for autoX, road race, or drifting, it's weight balance is exceptional, the handling characteristics are/can be amazing compared to 90% of the cars on the road

it's just my $.02 some of the ridiculous things people do to their 240s that they think is "cool" and "mad tyte"

i am a rookie, better than i was in the vid, but a pro by NO means, but if someones car looks like shit, I'm going to tell em, just like how you're bashing be for being a rookie..

I know the difference, so need to suck dick here, but since when did "building a beater" get to this level? I don't know of anybody who goes out to build a beater by purposely making it worse than it was when it started. Personally, with my experience, I don't think it keeps with the aesthetic of the show. In addition, if I saw that at a show that I covered, I'd probably pass it by and look for something with some pedigree, especially at BP. It would be just as wrong as seeing a mod-motor in a 60's Lincoln. Neato idea, decent looking motor but just not as good as an original mill.

But I don't know anything which is probably why I quit my job @ Hot Rod and Car Craft magazine (back when they were still owned by Primedia). Yeah, I know nothing. Perch and rotate, sir.



Actually, rednecks do that. Mostly it's for tire clearance because they're too broke to afford a Sawz-All or a plazma cutter. They do get carried away at times (blame it on the Natty) and have an errant swing or two that lands a binger right in the quarter or even into the taillight.
