UTI sucks ass i started there back in January and am thinking about quiting. I havent really learned one single thing i can use. Its a major waste of money.

 

Kinda wierd cause two of my friends went there straight out of high school and graduated (back in 05) and they both finished up and either one ended up working in the automotive field, they both just recently joined the Navy after both just having regular jobs they coulda just gotten without going to UTI..

 

I've heard good things from the people I know that go there....I start in January.

 

I loved it I went for a year but didnt finish because I got arrested and im on probation but once im done I think im gonna finish in the end its just one of those things when you graduate when you goto get a job there gonna prefer someone that graduated then someone who doesnt have anytype of formal training other than I swapped my homeboys honda with a B16....just my opinion

 

nobody in the real world in shops respects a single person that went to uti.
sissy know it all acting faggots, that sit there and recite classroom learned bullshit, and never fix anything.

well now idk if im gona go lol...the economy is to shitty to dump that much money into school and my parents dont even have that kind of money

 

you would be better off going to a real school and then joining that schools SAE program.

 

truer words have never been spoken...Iv had a few poeple working under me that went to all kind's of school's and what a waist, like tim said they just sit there and ramble off pointless shit and can bairly ID a wrench...
if you do goto a school make sure they actualy have you work on car's,
real hand's on and not just show you pretty pic's of what a car look's like and rememebr alot of the crap they are going to teach is interesting but alot of it WONT apply to the real world.I.E. how many time's are you going to REALY rebuild a altinator at a shop or dealership? you dont you buy a new one and be on your way.

 

honestly i go to UTI and i think its a pretty organized and good school. i man i go there and dont think badly of it 1 bit...
