welcome man,this is what I do before I start a build research the chasis spec ect.SR20s are awsome engines and there very cheap to build(to RBS).I went for the S-14 chasis but the S13 with a drift body kit its very sexy...very.looks sick.oversize rims and its a bad as looking car.If its just for looks, Ill go with the S13 and the drift body kit,nice set of 17x9s in front and 17x10s on the back and please do the convertion front to kouki style.slam that btch.good luck man

 

The 2jz is pretty fucking sick. Only problem is price. Yes it can handle gobs of power on the stock block but the swap itself is very pricey because of the amount of work and parts that are involved. For the money you would spend on a stock 2jz swap you could build one hell of an sr.

???????????? ..............is that pic of your s14? I have always ask why would someone want to make a 240sx look like a original S-14 kouki? I only like the sleepy head lights style.about the 2jz swap its just cheap then a rb,example to build a rb you need like 23k for the engine alone,2jz more like 12k.to make this work on a s chasis you will need to ad 2k to the equation for the 2jz and 1,200.00 for the rb.sr20 well they produce good power at the same price has the 2jz little actually like 8k.

1.240sx's can be made to look like original kouki S14's (appearantly america never got those...)
2.your car is sleepy
3.2jz swaps are cheaper than an rb...
4.building an rb takes $23,000(obviously the parts are so expensive cause the extensive R&D the japs pay for...)
5.building a 2j costs $12,000
6. it only takes 2,000 to put in a 12,000 dollar built 2j, and 1,200 to put in a 23,000 dollar rb(hahahhahahhahhahahhah)
7.for 8,000 dollars, the same price as a 2j swap...you can have an SR swap, that appearantly makes good power...
