word. 23 thousand dollars for that motor is expensive but then again what is better than an RB26? nothing! unless your a rotary guy going for a 3 rotor tt 20b. the most i would be doing is a blue bird or a red top SR but im not trying to go over my head with an RB. unless its already in a Skyrine!

Yes, it is.

I have always ask why would someone want to make a 240sx look like a original S-14 kouki?
It is an original, 5-spd, SE, 1997 Kouki S14. It's not pretending to be one.

I only like the sleepy head lights style.
Thats nice. I prefer something that gives me fully functional headlights.

about the 2jz swap its just cheap then a rb
Hahahaha. You can swap in an RB20 or RB25 for thousands less than swapping in a 2jz. Have you ever looked into a 2jz swap?

example to build a rb you need like 23k for the engine alone,2jz more like 12k.to make this work on a s chasis you will need to ad 2k to the equation for the 2jz and 1,200.00 for the rb.sr20 well they produce good power at the same price has the 2jz little actually like 8k.
23k for an RB? Is it fucking gold plated or something? Got more diamonds on it than Paul Wall's grill maybe?

$1,200 to drop a 2jz into a 240sx..... Now I know for a fact you have no idea what you are talking about. I'm just going to stop there.

1) They don't cost $23k. The replacement motor for my Dad's 996 Carrera only cost $19k (thank god for the warranty), anyone who pays $23k for an RB should probably just off themselves.

2) There are plenty of motor's that are better than the RB26.

3) If you're new to nissans you should probably just keep it simple and do a red top SR or stick with the KA for a while. Both have tons of parts readily available and there are plenty of people on here that can help you with problems you may encounter with either.

4) If you buy a skyline, let me drive it.

Eh, if you buy all the swap parts from someone and keep fabrication to the minimum it can get pretty pricey. But then again when I was thinking about it and pricing everything I was planning on replacing a lot of stuff that wouldn't be a necessity I guess. Probably drove my price up.
