ive heard that
if you replace the intake cam with another exhaust cam in a ka24de it supposedly give it better mid ranger power, has anyone else heard about this?

the older dual cam shafter are more aggressive. thats why some people swap s13s into the s14s. i beileive 91 is the best yr.
i have like a 5 page write up on it... if u need it post ur email.... but this is very easy to break... ull snap a couple more than likely also depending on where u are i know a kid who can do it.. he stays in bradenton.... but from racing my friends s13 hatch with an s13 ka vs my s13 coupe(200lbs lighter) with s14 ka... hell beat me by like 2cars... everytime...the cams make a difference in s13.
91 dohc exhaust cam is more agressive than any other year, so people used to put two exhuast cams in the car for a little more power. This was done because there were no aftermarket camshafts for these motors at the time.
IIRC the S14 KA motors had the least agressive cams.
Its really hard to find them, and its not that much of a gain unless you really know what your doing.
FYI most motor companys change small things like cam profiles, compression, ecu's ect ect ever few years even on the same motor. Just becasue its the same motor dosnt mean they are carbon copies of eachother.

Does anyone here understand the concept of doing research before posting? For christ's sake, google this crap first.
