s14 ka's and 94 s13s ka's with this set up would be the best..94-98 ka's had a 9.5:1 comp. ratio..91-93 had 9:1..not much different but it is some defference..

i hear if you switch the intake and exhaust cams on a sohc KA it makes it faster than a DOHC KA and an SR! WOW!

man this post reminds me of 5 years ago

the cool thing to do is get part numbers off them and compare and contrast.. and make an educated decision based off that.. you will find that a lot of it is just rumors by doing this

keep in mind the cars you tested probly didnt maintain the factory compression ratio..the s14 ka coulda been ran to the ground and had lots of blow by and the s13 ka coulda been babied!

They're (S13 and S14 KA-DE) both 9.5 compression. SOHC's had some different CR's.
All 91-94 S13's have the same cams.
S13 cams are 240/248 duration.
S14 cams are 232/232 duration.
Yes, putting S13 cams into an S14 KA will pick up power.
S14 KA's have lower redlines because there is no extra power (due to small cams) from reving it higher.
Yes, a dual 248 (that's dual exhaust cams) setup will breathe better in the higher rpms, but you need to watch your cam timing. It probably won't help, or possibly hurt low-mid power just based on general knowledge on what cam durations do.
