im prob going to order some stuff from basf..

but i would wax it either way..just wash it...

You also cant sand n buff it, so make sure you dont end up with any runs when you spray.

I'm just going to use it for my engine bay

yeah..well that usually goes for most paints like that...so cut and buff is out of the question..
but if you lay it down nice like a base coat u should be fine...
