Default struts?

ok, so as far as supporting the vehicle and suspension goes, i am basicly a

so my front left struts are going on my '91 stanza, r there specific struts i need for it or is there a universal type?

also, how much would it run me to have my struts professionally replaced and how difficult is it to fix it myself? and how much would they run?

tools arent an issue considering how absolutely surrounded i am by mechanics.

if you are surrounded by mechanics then they should be able to answer all of that.
If they can't, then do not let them touch your car. period.
basically, every car has their own specific part.
if you are just looking for stock replacement, then hit up advance.
Last I checked, the stanza wasn't a really supported platform, so you might have a hard time searching for after market stuff.
If you are going to be able to figure it out, you'll do so by just by looking at it. If not, then I'll walk you through it lunch and gas money...

im too lazy to hunt for phone numbers
just for clarifcation, by surrounded meaning i know a lot.
i dont have numbers to contact most of them and id have to hunt for them
mostly family members

as far as after market goes for stanza, yeah thats not happening
most of the final stanzas bought were 1.1 or 1.4, so theyre tiny engines not meant for heavy driving
mines a 2.4 stock engine which actually is incredibly powerful considering how heavy the car is and how old the engine is =/

so if you can't get a hold of them, then how are you going to get the work done?
Just curious...
hit up auto zone/napa/advance and see what you can find.

on a side note, isn't that 2.4 the KA24?
I thought they had the KA as an option and I think your logic about engine size and performance is a little off. One of the most after market supported import cars ever came with a stock motor with under 1.5 liters of displacement...

thats y i said "which is actually incredibly powerful"
when i got the car, i didnt expect it to be as powerful as it is.

the 1.4l stock stanzas cap out at 100, maybe 110 (my father's friend actually has the 1.4l version)

i can get a hold of them, too lazy to go # hunting tho
or id have to drive to where they live if i cant get the #
again, not an issue, its just easier to come here

but thanks for the napa/advance/zone suggestion
