great write up and it looks good! but if you guys want to spend lil more money then get a Hella H4 projectors, you can get it from ebay for $120bucks
and just get H4 HID kit and your done.

 

To my knowledge, you'd still have to retrofit the projectors into the housing as I did. The whole point of this exercise was to prove the difference between HID lights in a reflector unit versus HID lights in a proper unit and I think the results are clear.

Hell yeah. It's a major improvement.

If you do decide to do it, make sure to adjust the headlight stoppers to prevent pop-up headlight flutter. You should do that anyway but HID lights exacerbate the problem.

 

I realize this is way old, but this should be a sticky imo.
