the 8k are the way to go for what you are looking for. The 6k will put off more usable light, but not enough to warrant only those. What I suggest for someone looking to go after market headlights and what not is to get either 8k or 10k (if they like the blue) for their nornal headlights and 6k for their high beams. Usually the only time you use high beams is when there are no street lights and you need every little bit of light you can get.

What temp is the purple lights? I always thought it was the 14k, but that pic doesn't look very purple to me...

thats exactly what i was thinking, i was just gonna pick up a set of 8ks for my low beams and a set of 6ks for my high beams, hopefully it will work out the way i want it, lol.

6k will be a better light for driving, 8K will be a more distinct color when other look at your car. Form or function......your choice. GL
