Some Questions!
Ok I know most of you hate reading lame threads this n that but i have a couple, what i think are good questions, for some fellow users. Please if your gonna say something bad or dumb then dont even say anything. Thanks!
That being over i would like to know the difference and honest opinions for the s14 sr20det. is it worth the extra money? and the host car im using is a 93 240sx coupe. would it be plug and play like the other sr's? are there different ecu's. Does the cvt do a noticeable difference.. let me know and thanks in advance

Well, before I help you out, I'm going to tell you to do more research.
That being said, I have an s14 sr in my s14. I think it's worth the extra money for a few reasons.
1. The motor usually has fewer miles on it.
2. t28 > t25
3. Head port design was changed from s13 sr's for better flow.
The wiring is definitely not plug and play like it is with s13->s13 or s14->s14 swaps. But its not as hard as going s13->s14. I don't feel like the VTC (cvt is a kind of transmission) is that important. if you buy aftermarket cams you lose that anyway.
Edit: I missed something. Yes, the ECU's are obviously different b/c they use different mafs and therefore different electrical signals.
Hope it helps. I apologize if I presented any misinformation.

^true except there are cams to support vtc, but ya better turbo, sometime lower mileage, if you have the extra money, sure, could just put the extra money into shit on an s13 sr...i say just get a low mileage blacktop, then put money into that
i have a s14 sr in my s13. i like it because its not like every other sr swap around. i have cool valve cover with a hump. i put a s15 turbo on it ect...it gets nasty for what it is. i dunno if you run into me anywhere your more than welcome to take a peek.
you better believe im gonna have the harness done for me lol! idk i think im gonna go s13 blacktop stock n have the bb t28..they go for wat like 500-600? used. and idk if theyre r ne mods needed to do that lol

1. YES
2. YES
3. NO.. S13 head port design is a lot better for top end power than the s14
and the wiring IS exactly as hard as putting a s13 sr into a s14 shell... actually it takes a little longer.
