Still sweet though. keep us posted.
I will be using a 240 IRS and a 240 front suspension... It will essentially be a truck on a 240 "frame" so In the end it will be a "240 truck" thanks for the insight though Joe...

Least with the KA-T you still have some TQ to work with : )
As for it ever being a truck... I doubt it. I hauled 6 wheels in the back(5 17s ad a 15) and I scraped on rocks in the road.. So I have no future plans for it to be a "truck truck"... And like we always say... Who needs TQ when you can rev to 10k? lol...

As for a CA it all depends on what happens as time goes on. The once cam KA will do what I need it to once I get the rear end done. Then after that its motor/trans time..

Thanks for the comments,
-Mike

Yeah, thats what I was saying, but with that much S chassis suspension, its close enough. should be cool either way.

Or you could buy a real truck and have no worries. Mini-trucks are meant to haul mini-loads. Big boy trucks are meant to haul cars and the 4 wheeled trailers they sit on.

But I do like the project here. Should be interesting to see it progress as what you've done so far has been nothing but one improvement after another. My GF took one look at those wheels and went, "who does that to a nice set of wheels? I'm glad he took all of that blue shit off."

Thanks for the comments... I think the wheels looked hideous but the flat black paint looked a hell of alot better than the blue. And that was just a fix for a few days until I got back to advance. Now That I have the wheels back chrome, I think its time to strip down the Yota bumper and buy a new bottom piece for it. After That Ill have it welded solid and re-chromed to be 1 piece... Pretty much lately just been cleaning it up one step at a time. Today, I got a triple gauge pod put under the radio surround and wired to dim with the dash. I also sanded down the helper springs I just got in the mail, and Im about to throw a coat of "instant chrome" dupli-color paint on to make it stand out and look better than a rusted leaf-pack. Tomorrow I go to pick up my CC II clutch and PP... Then Its time to throw that in and get her back on the ground...

Yea I know, I probably wouldn't really use it much if ever as a tow vehicle. If I need to tow the car I borrow my parents expedition.

On topic: I definitely like what you did with the wheels. Looks good.

No, not into that scene. I was thinking about a body drop with a static suspension. But I dont want bags at all. I would rather do an IRS with coil-overs and ride like a car but style of a truck. Thats been what Im aiming at lately... Hopefully once I get the trans back in, I can find someone with a FULL IRS so I can get started...
