hello, wanted to clear things up,

"The DVD they sell is for an S13-to-S13 swap. I didn't see a DVD for an S14 SR motor into an S13, as you did."
We sold that DVD in the past but we did NOT produce it.

The DVD that is currently on the site was produced by us in November.

It's cool that there's a DVD for it, but the swap is soooooooo easy!!!

I've done 2 of my own.
My source to complete my first swap is:
-family & friend's knowledge
-google.com
-common sense

It's a straight forward swap. The harness is the most difficult part of the swap. I too sub the work out to a professional, not xat though.
On my 1st swap, I bought a full complete front clip S13. I swapped it in my S14. It's not really all that complicated as i said. If you have good and smart friends & family, save that extra $20-$10 on a DVD, and spend it on a case of beer and pizza with people who you so dearly love & care for.

I love ya bro, wanna come over for beer and pizza.....haha, just kidding. I don't have my motor yet. I'm still working on that. I need to find a good S14 motor from a reputable dealer for a good price first.

Thanks for all your help.

^ seriously, we do have members on here who motor swaps for fun if there's food offered in the trade. Plus, it's a opportunity to make new friends.
Motor swaps are done in less than 24 hrs. A good knowledgable team is needed. The average joe, not stupid, and who knows how to use his tools, can have it done in less than 2 days. I completed mine's in a week, but that's due to the ordering of the FMIC pipping. Swap was basically complete if i went with a SMIC in 30 hrs.

Yeah, it seems pretty straight forward, plus I'm sub-contracting out the harness so it'll be plug-n-play. I'm just looking for my S14 SR now!!

Does anybody know anything about this vendor?: SR20DET S14 Black TopSR20DET S14 Black Top

They seem legit. I just don't know who to trust....

central automotive is my recommendation.

Holy shit....Thanx guys. I've never heard of them. Lots of great, hard to find stuff....and best of all - They're local!!!

Do you know if there prices include everything, including MAFS, ECU, uncut harness, turbo, downpipe, etc, etc.......Basically, would I have to go find any other parts besides the fuel pump?
