350z/g35 brembos vs z32 calipers....
Having the Z33 Brembos factory fitted on the front of my Sentra, they are quite large. Not as big as EVO/STI/Ford 500/Cadillac V brakes which are all the same FMSI number. (same calipers pads etc) but they are not low profile like the stock or Nissan branded 4 pistons.. as for parts, the rotors for the Sentra are $50 and the pads $60 for a full race pad so I don't think that is excessive.
and someone who thinks they are out braking the factory Z33 setup is a little dumb. I can flog the sentra for over an hour on sebring in the middle of summer, and I can't even overheat autozone pads on theose brembo calipers (I use the autozone 2004 Z33 "track edition" pads they are only $20, and lifetime warranty.) "I don't know what happened they just wore out"...
According to FMSI the Z32 brakes are FMSI
D460 Which have the coll distinction of also being the Fuji Heavy 4 pots Subaru uses on non STI cars. (cross refrence)

The Z33 brembo is my favorite D960
BMW 850 and the Nissan triplets use this

What's the strangest thing.... the Brembo pad is actually smaller??? by almost an inch. with a much bigger caliper. so for street driving I'd chose more surface area to give a more progressive braking, the brembo kit on the sentra can get touchy at times. I'd have to measure the piston diameters too I know nissan Used Rx8 rear calipers on the sentra to balance the braking. so make sure you AT LEAST get a rear pad with a little more Coifecent of friction. perhaps we can have a lesson next week about brake tuning.

Actually they do look cool, that is true ( I prefer the light grey color compared to the reds or oranges used on most the others in discussion and the only reason I would prefer these over the STI's) but I like the fact that you can use Evo rotors and etc. To me its just an affordability issue with still very good performance options......
but thanks

I'm not attacking anyone here, and none of us are hardcore racers (except treekiller), but I bought G35 Brembos based on track day data. Patrick told me that his Z32 setup had fade issues at Sebring, so I knew a more powerful car would need something else. The color of the caliper was not a factor at all.

^ Thats my point though, you actually will track the car so it IS in your best interest to do this upgrade. I was looking into it when I still had my 240 because my intentions were to make it a full track slut only, buy the end of this year. but if its just for street or even auto X, it isn't needed.
