Nothing I did today made any difference, still won't start and the battery is now dead. Back on the charger she goes. FML.

 

Today I got my headlights and front reflectors blacked out on my 350Z. Its beautiful...will have pics when I wash and wax the car.

um stupid question since my ps belt is connected to the water pump if i take off ps like no pump or belt will it effect the water pump?

 

No, it wont, it will only cause your car to stop circulating water. But no big deal.

My car just got its first real 25 minute break in test! Wohoo.
I have a slight vaccum problem now though which is kinda gay but the car idles steady. Took it up to 2100rpms for a few seconds. No weird noises coming from the block yet.

 

longfellow, could you post a pic of your engine bay, i would like to see those tubs finished.

well how do people run no ps then? do they leave the pump there?

 

yeah. Just leave the pump there, but it will start making noise after a while due to no fluid being circulated through it. Why can't you use your power steering, it is the easiest thing to hook up.
