I've had people that are 6'3" drive my car with that SRD set up in it just fine. Its not terrible but its something you have to get used to. The rails are at an angle so the further back you sit the lower the seat becomes. Anyways fabbing something isnt to hard for bottom mount seats. You could probably modify the factory slider.

I saw a thread recently about EVO recaros in S13/S14, and they were tall as hell. 2-3" taller than stock. Not only is the seat bottom mount, it has a thick base. Plus it's made for a sedan-style car, not a racecar like the 240sx (lol).

 

Thats the main reason I got rid of my SRD, too tall and too heavy.

 

pulled the head off the rb to find that there def are bent valves which are causing no compression. looks as if the F***er i bought it from broke a timing belt. lucky i got a extra engine with a good head

 

Yes, mine arrived today. I ordered it 5 weeks ago. I am keeping A/C, and it shouldn't be that much a problem routing the piping. It may require bending the lines a bit, but I do not foresee too much work other than that.

got a new tire mounted and put on the girls car, then washed and detailed it.
