Datsun Dreaming
Car was purchased new in GA, then it migrated south to FL. I have no clue where the rest came from. Maybe a previous owner took it on a trip north. The front cross member / suspension pieces are fine.

I ordered a Buddy club seat rail for my recaro. Hopefully it fits decently and doesnt totally suck. Good side is is was about 30$ cheaper than the single lock Nagisa Auto unit.
Lemme know how that turns out, my brother has some evo recaros waiting to go in his S13, though I just may weld him something.

full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.

The only rails I know that work with Recaro SRD style seats (evo/sti included) is the Bride MO rail. Which I used for my old SRD. They work fine but they sit a bit high. They are also around 180$ each. I know sparco makes a similar rail but I've never been able to track it down.

If they sit high, I may as well not bother, i'll just fab him something.

Yeah, I didnt know that till after I got it. Its not horrible if your short, but it is about 1"-1.5" higher than the stock seat. That seems to be the problem with non fixback seats except the bride low max ones.
He's around 6' like me, not likely gonna work
