Dont need it, and it will tie the rear frame rails together better. Its only a few hours work. A couple feet of 1" square tubing. some 18ga sheet aluminum, a few bolts or rivets and its done.

It will also give me a little more room in the trunk because I'll probably drop it 2"-3"



Cant hurt, I dont have a spare tire anyways.
