I bought new wheels on Sunday.


Well, technically I sat on my ass at home and then went to the S-chassis meet while my brother and father bought the wheels, but I'm the one that spent the money for them so I think I did more WORK. lol.

 

well tomorrow im getting my spark plug wires and hopefully finally starting it up. i miss my car

 

Looked at them, wished there was more light to work on them.

I had the wiring done on paper hopefully it will work also I don't know if I gonna buy the mounts or make them myself
the motor set will be here by january
and still need to buy bellhousing and clutch set

 

Mounts aren't really necessary. Try searching google a bit about using the stock mounts, I remember when I was considering going this route reading about people doing it. Dunno if these will help you at all but they could come in handy during the swap. Pics are my friend's car, thing hauls asssssssss.

Bay has changed a good bit since then too but I don't have any newer pictures. Ran an 11.8 at 121. Make sure to post some pics or vids of your car when you finish it, 2jz is gooood.

 

thanks man for the advice, how much boost he was running and what trim the turbo was?

 

Not sure on boost or exact specs but the turbo is a pt67
