Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices

Its 35$ now. It makes it so much easier.

I'll be overhauling the entire suspension next week. So I have my work cut out for me.

Thank you for posting that, looks like just what I need/want. I've already got a torch for the bushings. Fire! FIRE!

For you S14 guys doing ball joints. S14 front fit in the rear, so if you get S14 Moog front ball joints, they'll work in the rear. Also, just go to Autozone and rent the ball joint press tool they have there. It's $105.49 w/ tax, but once you use it, just clean it up some and take it back, and get your full money back. That's what I did twice when I had to push in spherical bushings in my RLCA & ball joints in the front/rear.

105 to borrow or 35 to use whenever I want. I choose 35 even though it's more expensive in the long run.

Yeah, but how often do you change ball joints?

$35 = dinner + beer + oil change money

Sweet. Ive been wondering what the hell to do about the rear ball joints. I've heard about the B14 cross over but have yet to see any substantial evidence it actually works. I was looking into the megan things (GROSSSS)

I've got 2 s-chassis, each car has 4 of them... Plus, I can use that tool for other unintended purposes. No tool built just has one purpose...lol!

I went ahead and bought B13 Sentra front ball joints, according to a thread I read on Zilvia/NICO (I forget which one, I just did a quick google search). However, the ball joints were too small for the S14 LCAs, and when I reread the thread, it applied to S13s only. A guy by the username of "djsilver" on FreshAlloy has a good ball joint/suspension replacement thread in the FA Best of 240SX archives that gives a definitive statement of what works when replacing ball joints on S13's / S14's.

I can get you guys the ball joints cheaper than that, if you really want.

I think I can get them around $48 or so, for Moog.
