Uhhhhhhhh got the diff and newish axles in this afternoon. Got some good parts on the car, its pretty much bullet proof for daily driving. I have to get some tires on it this week and next month is going to consist of me starting to gather suspension parts together.

Also went to the port of Tampa and didn't find too many good drift spots. I had to try the new diff out, shit was fucking awesome feeling, feels way better than the tired J30 that was in there

What kind of diff did you get? And who has dibs on your current suspension setup?

Mattback's old nismo 2 way that was in his formula D car. And I am going to see how my car feels when I am done with my suspension because the badger works shit that is on there feels good right now, I might keep it depending on how it feels after I replace the everything that is stock.

my fault actually. combination of things.

1. had to grind lug holes on these wheels bigger to fit my lug nuts and didnt do it proportionatly all around so the clearances were too tight. went sliding and HAD to use these wheels to get home. forced lugnuts on. cursed for 3hrs next day trying to remove.

2. used old wornout lugnuts with brand new adapters

3. made in china

i forget where i got them. somewhere online. but there are cheap and hub-centric. i'm sure they would last for a while had i not fucked them up. so i just pressed out the studs and are using them as spacers with arp studs.

got new tires on saturday. 245/40-17 all around. off brand, but treadwear of 280 and a warranty. grease monkey put tab weights on the outside of the wheel even after i explicitly asked for sticky weights that go on the inside rim. fucking fatass [insert racial term here] didn't listen.

got it aligned at S&R after that. taylor did a great job. forgot i have no camber adjustment in the front. my brother has plans for quality coilovers in the future though. car drives great, but it's super bouncy in the rear. poly in the rear uprights and traction rods. solid spherical (from SPL Parts) rear lower control arm bushings. fail. taylor said it's the bounciest 240 he's ever been in. oh well not my car to worry about. it's a weekend tracker anyways.

getting a 6amp draw somewhere and tired of disconnecting the battery. brother is gonna pull fuses and track it down if he can.

got new trunklid rubber stoppers, wiper arms and blades from nissan, and a jdm oem front grille.

delivered it to my brother today, it resides in a nice secured garage now.

cleaning out garage, be on lookout for some parts for sale soon. if anyone needs zenki or kouki s14 harnesses (body, engine, dash, tranny - they are hacked up a little but are good for sourcing connectors and such), they are free for the taking.

the 240 isn't mine anymore. i. am. out!

time to get crackin on the mazda. low 300s to the wheels should be enough to spank down plenty of cocky SR swappers

i'll still be around to check on tech stuff and try to share my knowledge so i don't forget it all.
