I need to get off my ass and put my new cluster in. Speed sensor seems to be fine, speedometer needle randomly jumps and will work for a few seconds at a time on occasion. Or, it will go for days without working.

But, if anyone ever has a Garmin GPS go out, it's a 7 dollar fix to put a new/better battery in it.

 

just picked up my car from pelican. got the windows tinted. looks badass! also hopefully putting on my apexi n1 dual with my pops tonight

Reply to thread:reassembled my bov after getting it fixd.took my front mount off to notice my bov flange is shot,prepped the white tank for heart surgery.

 

drove it, put a license plate frame on it, new hood rubber bump stops. vacuumed it and cleaned up the engine bay some. also put on a S2000 antenna, but need to get a proper bolt with enough thread length to have it stay on.

oh yeah, had some guy tell me "nice car" in an old S13 hatch and a guy in a red S14 w/ SR swap ask me to trade him cars.

I am thinking of what to get from the family for my bday nov 7th. I might just ask for full aero(full kit with fenders) and maybe just buy rims with the remainder of the greenbacks I get. My car will be 100% mechanically by the end of the year but it needs a face lift with the quickness.

 

put my head on, lower timing chain, set tdc, put cams in, started to bolt cap caps and broke a damn bolt. hopefully i will have it fixed friday.
