how many ka's have you bought with a warranty for under 500?

 

not if its in good condition with low miles. You have to realize not everywhere is TR pricing. Hell mattback vass. was selling his 120k ish KA/Tranny for 700 like a year ago.

 

ill never pay more than $250 for a stock ka with tranny and harness.

 

you forget that came with a rom tune and a well mantained motor

 

^^+1 i had bought 3 so far and havent paid over $300 for any of them. all but one of the three had low miles on them but no warranties. today i finally replaced some misc. missing bolts.

 

okiely dokely and that was 700 private sales. so if this was say a 70k miles engine he bought, then 600 from whatever junkyard isnt too bad considering its a business price. Hell how much did XAT sell KAs for? i mean shit joe we all know TR is lowball city.

 

Finally ordered new subframe bushings. So no more clunk clunk when I shift or go over large bumps. Finally getting around to fixing some little annoying things this week to. Hopefully the car will be less aggervating to drive.

Also I passed the wear bars on my falkens so my rear tires are fucked. GHey

 

So any guesses on how I got home tonight?....a tow truck...altenator decided to go out while I was driving on I4...had to call a tow truck. Just got home.

Thank goodness I have another 240...ill just pull the altenator out of that one and replace it later.

 

Wondered why my clutch went straight to the floor...

Got up and under the dash... might as well be a squirtgun when I hit the clutch.
New master cylinder saps from my coilover fund.

 

if your coilover fund was low enough that a 30$ master cylinder puts a dent in it, it was a pretty shitty fund anyway.

i didnt do shit to my car, and havent in a while. nothing breaks, everything maintains, and no problems. bought a civic today though. neat.
