I figure NT05's and a remove some of the toe-in and I'll be happy.

Next set of wheels will be 9.5" +38 and I'll space them out as needed.

Honestly, depending on camber and tire you may not want to space them out. Jorge has my GTR wheels on his at 9+30 with 245/40 N3000's, with a pull and "i dont want uneven tire wear" camber, they're pretty flush, the 9.5+38 are about 2mm shorter from hub to lip than the gtr's..

Theyre already on a friends car, they NEED the pull, otherwise they'd be sticking out, and he's not even running an S14 subframe. He's not super low either.

I dont see how when my car currently has a 235-40 and just went from +24 to +19 about an hour ago when I decided to see what 5mil spacers looked like, the tire is just inside the fender height wise. +25 and a 235-40 you should be able to run close -1* of camber with a pretty low ride height. I'll take pictures of it tomorrow when its light out. It might have more camber than I think though so I'll have to check that as well, but eyeballing it, its not that bad.

+24 fits really nice up front too, the fenders aren't even rolled.

Also since I know your going to want more traction look into NT05R's, its the NT05 tire with a sticker compound geared more for drag racing/OTL traction, but afaik its the same carcass so its still really stiff and not totally shitty when a turn comes up.

This is the best this thread has been in about 5 months.

Oh and even if i've still got clearance with the +30's, that just means i'll be able to fit more wheel/tire later when I get something else.

Possibly cr-kai's i love so much in 17x9+17

Yeah fronts i'm sticking with the 9+30, i've just got to see if i'll be able to manage the pss9's im working on without needing to run a spacer to clear the wheels, the good side is that 60mm springs fit on em.

Keep in mind the tires on em i'm using for reference are 245/40 n3000s and are actually bulged out a bit, they arent stretched by any means, thus why i'd kinda like to go with a 235/45/17

I'm really not THAT worried on how well they stick in a straight line, for the tires on the GTR's, I just dont want them to absolutely suck, starspecs are reasonably well priced, and i'm sure will work great for daily driving.

When it comes time to go out straight line racing on the weekend, i'll bolt on some mickeys.

In the end, for the next few years, the cars 150% purpose will just be a nice enjoyable daily driver, something I dont have to mess with, worry about, etc, just change the oil, put gas in it, most of my drivetrain is new, or really low mileage, all of my front driven accessorys are new, I just want something thats as reliable as if I bought something new-ish, yet with 400+ rwhp AND awesome street manners.

Replaced a blown fuse and swapped on some SE's with drift spare quality tires so i can have them replace tomorrow. Need them for the cheap because in a short while it will be on to 5-lug and 17s.

I'll check the front clearance on my car tomorrow and give you the space left. The lower bracket is slotted though so they have more clearance than standard stuffs but it looks close to 5mm. I think you'll be good especially with 60mm springs as long as you can slot the lower camber bolt and run upper plates that will take up the rest.

Yes ! New spot weld cutter stuff came in, broke the guide pin on mine the other day and had to stop working on the latest RHD conversion, and of course couldnt get any local that i knew of.

If any of you guys need a spot weld cutter for doing stuff like wheel tubs, core support replacement etc, heres what you want, its like bringing an excavator when you need to dig a hole for your mailbox, absolutely awesome.

You running the veilside180sx housings ?

I'm probably not going to be using mine, i've managed to come up with a combination that should get me a compression independent of height, bilstein PSS9 setup up front. Already got noltec camber/caster tophats to go on them.

Considering using bilstein ASN for the rear, or maybe one of their non threaded units and custom sleeves to run adjustable megan, or stance Z32 lower brackets.
