with no shroud that fan is just blowing hot air everywhere, with the shroud you get only the incoming/cool air directed right where you need it. id say make a junkyard trip. pick up a powersteering resivour from a nissan truck while your there.

 

Im taking an extended lunch to deal with some BS with my bank, maybe I'll stop by Cophers on my way back to work.

Anyway, I just finished putting in my J30 diff/axles. Turns out I didn't have the 36mm socket but thankfully I did have a phone and some favors to cash in. The only bad part was that the old diff fell off of the jack when I was removing it. Thankfully, my pinky finger was there to soften the blow. I think it's now sprained but not broken.

Still, I took it for a test drive and it seems to be limited slipping so all is good.

 

^werd. im thinking about hittin the engine up with some seafoam today, we'll see how ambitious i get. i think i need to replace my coolant temp sensor as well but thats for another day.
