I thought the hks camp 2 was only for OBD2?

 

They make an adapter that plugs into the consult port so it can read off the ECU, which is only for nissans, so thats cool. They also make external sensors so I can run Oil-pressure sensor and a few other things if I want to. Its a pretty cool set up and I can do it for around 500$ not including the screen, but I'm going to get a double din head unit next month and it will plug into that.

I pretty much will have all the features of most new cars, Navi, DCC, digital read outs, Ipod interface blah blah blah. I'm venturing away from Race car and going more for GT car.

 

That sounds pretty bad ass.
My double din has already lost its color on the screen. It was a turd to begin with though.

 

I figured it be way more cool than 2 gauges stuck on my A-Pillar.

 

I can help you with wiring next week, if you want. I bet your F4 is a disaster. Maybe the problem is that you had a 96, and this is a 95...?

 

That'd be awesome. I didnt know that would be a problem but that could be it. The guy I got it from didnt list it, it just said S14-S14SR wire harness.

 

blew my ign sw fuse, an for the life of me cant trace the short......ill start on the driver side wheel well harness when i get home -_-

 

finally wired my fuel pump to a switch, so no more hardwired shenanigans.. that is all.

 

 

well.... the switch kept buring out so i just said fuck it, and would reach into my back seat and remove the neg lead from the batt(since from the day i first got this car, the fuel pump never worked with the key, so i wired it to the ignition acc, and that wasnt good.. hahaha). but i got some bigger wire, and now were golden.. i think.. for now..
