Yeah, it means you either set the mechanical timing wrong or stabbed it wrong.

Probably both.

Also, timing lights can be off. And if you put the clamp on wrong (backwards), can read incorrectly.

 

I'd like to make it up there this year in late october/early november right around the seasonal change. Perfect weather and lots of neat scenic colors and no fucking traffic.

 

mech timing was set per fsm, same with cas, and the light was on correctly. i used a spark plug wire in the coil pack, and clamped the light to the coil pack harness. same readings. im gonna pull the valve cover, and stab it once again.

 

motor goes in tomorrow

just gotta round up some bolts, lost all the ones that hold all my accessories on like a idiot.
