awesome. car came with an HKS EVC that wasnt even hooked up. why is there an avcr harness in there?

i hate finding other peoples messes

 

it could use a similar harness, thats just what it looks like to me.

 

Boo I was hoping for a better ending to Sebring. Oh well.

 

already took out the EVC.

so far, i've taken out an EVC, DIF fan controller, blitz turbo timer, stupid silvia lightup visors.

the EVC/DIF/blitztt will be replaced functionality-wise by a haltech. and will be sold to pay for half that haltech. and will result in 3425% less random wires ziptied to the dash bar.

also today, i replaced all the locks in the car, since prior to this, there were three keys to the car. now, just one.

also stripped off the nasty purple tint.

sigh.

 

its looking a lot like a SAFC harness. what's the difference?

found another harness, not connected to anything.

runs in the passenger side trim, along the seat, terminates by the ECU with a flat white plug.

any guesses?

 

i know the difference between a safc and a avcr. i have never owned either, so i do not know the difference between the harnesses

 

Spades/bullets in the subharness tell me it's for an SAFC. That type of connector is used by Apexi, and the disconnects are for bypassing the mafs signal quickly.
