I know! That's pretty cool. I saw some write up forever ago where someone cut open a bunch of filters (maybe a G35 or 350z forum?) and that was one of the best ones they tested.

Not gonna pretend that I knew that when I started using them, but it certainly makes me keep using them lol

 

i saw the same thing. he was a foxbody guy. the best bang for you buck filter was the Napa Gold i think. thats what i've been using for the past few years.

 

how far can you drive if your needle is on damn there on E? lol i'm curious.

ive always used 10w30 valvoline or castrol. whichever is cheaper at the time and a carquest gold filter because theyre free. no problems yet, with probably 75k miles ive put on the car.
just switched to rotella i think 10w40, for no real reason.
