put my turbo back together, and mocked it up with the mani, started putting the lines on, and also figured out how im going to keep the wastegate shut without welding it shut .

on the coolant lines, i dont have anyones car to look at to check, on the block side of the turbo that line goes to the block or behind it? and vice versa. thanks guys


next week she might move for the first time since mid december , and under her own power lol

Doesn't matter. My hardlines run, block to blockside; struttowerside to wherever. Wherever meaning waterneck on S14 and behind block on S13.

I don't know what planet you're from, but it's common knowledge that KA VTEC syndrome is a bad knock sensor. The ignition map disregards knock sensor feedback after 4800rpms. So your falsely high reading dead knock sensor is pulling timing all over the place until 4800 and then it goes back to normal. This is probably also putting a dent in your fuel economy as well.

I have no idea what's up with xnissanx's car....
