We are 3/4 of the way done of the polished FN's for my brothers car.

 

+1, cometics can be used... but they require ALOT more work and careful prep. to seal properly.

 

cracked my radiator open about 12 inch long and 2 inch wide.

 

Tried to teach my brother how to drive stick. Lip fell off. Ziptied it back on. I just have to remember to be careful over speed bumps.

 

Drove around for several hours last night trying to tack more miles on to the Altima. Damn break-in period. I've already got on it a couple times, no 3rd gear pull yet. That's where I'm expecting to see a major difference. Currently at ~695 miles...

 

A couple pulls to 7k RPMs revealed that it's leaking on the pass side. Thinking I'm going to get the VC powder coated while I'm at it.

 

yea same with mine i have about 10k on my build and it's leaking.the hell with cometic i will only talk bad about them lol

The car was in an accident on the driver side, it pushed the bumper supper 1-2" completely to the passenger side. It also bent the mounts where the support bolts, quite a bit. So seeing as that would be part of the frame rail, it may be bent. But thanks for playing.

I might try and grab one from the junk yard, but every time I see one its fucking worse than mine is =\..

I have one on my wrecked shell, it should be straight.. I might just use it, but it has a little rust -_-..

 

^ use the one from your shell. Fix the little rust if it's only surface rust.
